Amanda Sonntag
Amanda is a stay-at-home mom of two girls. After seeing an ad for becoming a children's author, she applied and was accepted at the Institute of Children's Literature where she took a course on writing for children and teens. During this course Amanda realized that she had a real passion for writing and enjoyed delving into the new world. Now a graduate, Amanda is looking to increase her knowledge of writing and is expanding her range of writing possibilities to the internet.
One of her favorite hobbies is reading and Amanda loves to let everyone know about great authors that she has come upon. Most of her reading is of teen novels, mysteries and thrillers mostly, with a few teen romance novels sprinkled here and there. Her reasons for focusing on teen novels is due to researching writing styles and the aspects of what interests teens so she can write in their readership level, which is where she wants to focus her writing.
